Born and raised in the Florida Panhandle, Captain Leif began fishing when he was just a young boy in Pancaea. He found his passion on the back deck of Angelo and Son’s Seafood Restaurant, and he turned it into a career as both a successful professional fisherman and competitor.
He now shares his expertise with others with Viking Coastal Charters, offering the best-guided fishing trips [in the panhandle] spanning from the Econfina River to Apalachicola Bay.

His knowledge of the St. Marks’ waterways makes him the best choice for those looking to plan their next inshore or offshore charter adventure.

Boat Specs

Custom Carolina (Flats boat) was originally built in 2006 and restored in 2021. Powered by a brand new Yamaha VMAX 150 engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 40 in knots. The 21-foot boat holds up to 4 persons and is outfitted with the top of the line fishing equipment and technology.
